When Abigroup needed a compact watercart that could be deployed on a Newcastle water treatment plant construction site, a Fuso 4500 litre capacity self-drive watercart was considered a perfect solution.
Abigroup’s site superintendent, Angelo Genua, said, “The Fuso water truck is ideal for this site because it can easily be deployed to settle dust arising from movement of other construction vehicles when they traverse the tracks between large tanks, buildings and other infrastructure that comprises the construction.
“The fact that any of our people with a car licence can easily operate the truck is a big bonus for us. Having the watercart close by means it can be quickly put into use when the site needs watering.
“Many of our operators are truck licensed, however it’s a real advantage to have a compact, car licensed water truck on site that can be driven by anyone with a valid car licence. The Fuso from TWS Hire is highly manoeuvrable – a real benefit on this site,” said Angelo.
