A purpose-built, six-speed Mercedes Atego 16/24 tilt-tray truck has been added to TWS Hire’s logistics fleet.

“When equipment is needed adjacent to a rail construction or highway works site, it’s important for our customers that we deliver vehicles quickly and safely to minimise any site interruption.
“The less time taken in disrupting site works, the better for our customers. Our Mercedes Atego tilt tray tilt-tray truck has been designed from the ground up to comply with the latest safety regulations and with speed and efficiency in mind.
“We have been increasingly called on to deliver our car-licence Fuso watercarts to distant locations, to regional centres and interstate.
“The truck’s safety equipment includes a new strap holding system which is designed to securely hold carried vehicles in place under any conditions. There are also deck mounted tie-downs, a high-efficiency winch and high power LED lights to let us safely secure vehicles is at any time of the day.
“We carry all our own high visibility equipment; witches hats, radio with well displayed call signal so people on site can call us as we approach, with any special delivery instructions.
“Having a sophisticated delivery vehicle like this is a real plus for our customers – faster, safer service and added accessibility”, Bill said.
